YOUNGSTOWN - Cynthia S. Chicase, 52, of Youngstown died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Cortland Health Care Center.
She was born March 4, 1956, in Youngstown, the daughter of Fred and Virginia Monski Akers. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and worked as a supervisor with Marc's until her illness in 2005.
She leaves her husband , Bill ''Billy Ray'' Chicase, whom she married June 14, 1975; two sisters, Kathy Achey of Austintown and Kim Price of Youngstown; and two brothers, Fred Akers of Orlando, Fla., and Bill Hogan of Youngstown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepfather Ed Hogan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church in Austintown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel, where closing prayers will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
