Geography and the economy are conspiring against beach-loving Ohioans this summer. Fins to the Left promises salvation — without any sand in the shorts. The Jimmy Buffett tribute band will bring beach music and attitude to Warren Community Amphitheatre on Saturday, something it’s been doing in northeast Ohio for more than a decade. Holly Stevens, who sings and adds percussion to the mix, said the band was the brainchild of her older brother Shawn Lawless, a longtime Parrothead who took his sister to her first Buffett show when she was in eighth grade. ‘‘I had a country band, and when the country scene fell off there wasn’t much work around here,’’ she said. ‘‘Shawn said, ‘Why don’t we start a Jimmy Buffett tribute band?’ Who’s going to want to see that?’’ Turns out a lot of people did.
